Our Mission
The mission of the Irish Debt Securities Association (IDSA) is to promote and develop Ireland as the premier and most trusted location in Europe for activities in global structured finance, debt securities and specialist securities.
We support a responsible, sustainable and effective environment for the structuring and management of SPVs to facilitate transactions, create investment products and to raise and diversify capital funding.
What we do
The IDSA was established in 2012 as an industry representative body. Our members include audit firms, corporate administrators, legal advisors, listing agents, trustees and other parties that structure and manage SPVs.
We work with and make representation to government, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to help shape the development of Ireland’s legislative, regulatory and tax framework. The association develops industry policy and guidance papers to define best practice in areas such as accounting, compliance and reporting. IDSA policy is formulated in consultation with our members.
The IDSA promotes the Irish SPV and structured finance at home and abroad as a best in class jurisdiction in the industry.
